This block is part of a new BOM and blog hop sew along. You can see the information on the September 25 entry at this link. cvquiltworks.blogspot.com In summary, it goes like this: On the 25 of the month from September 2011 to October 2012 you visit a new blog and get the directions to make your 8.5" block. Free and simple. One block a month. There is also a Flickr group to see the pictures of some of other quilters participating. The address is flickr.com/groups/1738993@N24. I will not link this because I am new to Flickr and don't quite know how this works.
The designers are using a group of Kafee Fasett fabrics; but I am using a black from Habitat collection and hand dyed solids.
Now better clean and organize studio, so I can get to my sewing machine.

HI Cissa, Thanks for the comment on my post at Kim McLean Down Under...you dont have return email on your profile so I am using this. Are you missing Sydney? I met you at NSW Quilters guild office whilst you were doing that lovely Kaleidoscope Native flowers Challenge quilt...you will get it back soon!
ReplyDeleteLove your block above...the contrast of solid colour and black.
Enjoy your Quilt'n
Great block. It should be a fun BOM.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. For some reason your comment did not go to my email. Every once in a while I will check the comment section on my blog and sure enough I found yours. Not sure why it did not go through but I am glad I checked it. Didn't want you to think I am rude not answering your comment.
