New Quilt Along
The new quilt along by Happy Quilting will start on August 30th. I can't add the button to the side bar, it says that are "errors" which I can't figure out. So, here it is:

Little Wool Sampler
I have finished the top. The pattern is a free pattern by Jennifer Gaston; and posted on her Facebook group. Check also Woolen Willow Designs. She has some amazing patterns for sale. On her original quilt, she has applique all around the border; but I think I am done. I really like my little quilt. I also added sashing on top and bottom; but not the sides. I just wanted my quilt to be rectangular.

New Bella Solids BOM
This is a new sew along that starts today February 1st, 2017. The patterns will be published on the first day of the month, and it will run all the way to November 2017.
Did I mention it is free? It is very generous of them.
It should be a very fun sampler to make and a skill builder for sure.
So, follow the link below to see the quilt; and also to learn how to get your own patterns downloaded.
Cheers.

En Provence finished top
| En Provence inspired wall hanging |
This is my "En Provence" inspired quilt top wall hanging. It is a 27 inches square.
I will use the large dots fabric for binding. Bonnie Hunter is the designer of the original quilt; and she generously shared it for free as a mystery quilt.
I started making 1/3 of the required amount of pieces before I decided that what I really wanted was a wall hanging quilt. So, I will be using the extra pieces to make a donation quilt for my guild. I have modified the design for these blocks. It will be a little bigger than the picture below; but that is all I have done for now.
I really had fun making creating new blocks from the parts already made.
