And off we go. This past weekend, I started the block of the month (BOM) that the quilt show is doing for 2026. I have made several of the qults over the year.
The quilt parts are giving every month and it started in January 2026; but life has been happening fast and furious, so I just have started this center piece in April.
I am using a fat quarter bundle of "Gelato" by Maywood.
It is the second quilt I make using this ombre fabrics.
The center block shown here is made with patterns provided from January to March.
The pattern is designed for paper piecing but I made it cutting the pattern apart. I am not using paper piecing. I find it easier and less time consuming.
Now to month 4.
