Learn to Quilt Booth 2025

The Quilt Guild of Greater Houston has a booth at Quilt Festival every year. 

Anyone can come and learn the basic skills needed to quilt. 

Very talented members volunteer to teach from hand to machine skills needed to complete a quilt. 

Anyone can sit and make a pot holder totally free.

I have lent my 3 quilts to decorate the area. I chose applique, machine piecing, and English paper piecing quilts that could give an idea of the different techniques in quilting.

 I really hoped that it would inspire someone to think "I can do that!"

Brasilidade 2

 The 2025  International Quilt Festival is happening this October weekend in Houston, Texas. Among the most amazing displays of this art form are some quilts from Brazil. This one specially touches my heart. This scene is part of my young self history.
