2026 will be the Golden Jubilee for the Quilt Guild of the Greater Houston. As part of the celebration, the guild has a goal to make and give 50 quilts to Quilts of Valor with the goal to also honor about 25 women that has served this country.
My Bee is planning on making 1 or 2 quilts for this event. We each are making 4- 12 inches star blocks. It can be 4 6 inches block in place of 1 12 inches. But the goal is to have enough blocks. We are using the red/white/blue color scheme and the start is of our choice.
Those are the 4 ones I have made. I am sure these quilts will be wonderful. I am part of a talented group and we are very dedicated to quilting for others.
