So beautiful
ReplyDeleteIs that Mrs Billings? I just bought the pattern on sale with all those lovely templates for fussy cutting and I ordered the 5/8 inch hexie papers. Looking forward to joining the journey.
ReplyDeleteit is Mrs. Billings.Up to border 10
DeleteMrs Billings is looking beautiful, the colors work well together.
ReplyDeleteI have had the pattern for some time now and have just finally selected the colors for my centre block. What method did you choose - machine or hand piece, especially those large borders, I'm a bit unsure which way to go.
Hi, thanks for your comment. You are a no reply blog, so I hope you will see this here. I am machine piecing. But for all the hexagon areas, I am using English paper piecing. I have started on the last border when I started the quilt. I sew the hexagon when I travel and need some hand work. I am on border 13 now and it is all Y seams, so it is one that you might want to hand piece. Happy 2016 and happy quilting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cissa for being so helpful, II think it's a good idea to work on a couple of sections a time. I look forward to watching your progress.
DeleteI am looking forward to see your quilt also. Enjoy.
