Paper Lanterns Quilt Along

This is my version of the beautiful Sew Along (SAL), that Sue Daley (link on the right side to her blog),

is finishing up soon. I am using 1 inch hexies and not the 2" hexies on her original SAL.

I have finished a few more rows than this photo shows.

I am loving this SAL and can't stop working on it.

But I also made a mistake and I will end up with an extra row. Not a problem in my book.

Lucy Boston- Patchwork of the Crosses

I finished my version of the Lucy Boston English Paper Piecing quilt. The setting is my own adaptation of the block. I love the original quilt too. I might make another wall hanging with the original setting.

house block

This block is one of my favorite house blocks.

I made it for our guild president.

We as a guild, make a block to the president at the end of the year as a "thank you" gift. She had requested a house block, any size or color. This is my contribution. I hope she enjoys it.

Inspired by the Barn Star Quilt

This quilt top was made with some orphan blocks (previously made), and star blocks that can be found in the book "Barn Star Sampler...
