Windham Fabrics free quilt patterns
If you are like me and my Bee, you make a lot of donation quilts. (We have so far this year, made almost 100 quilts.) If so, this site is for you.
Thanks to generosity of many designers and the manufacturer, all you need is your supplies, a copy of any of the many, many patterns available there; and get busy.

Woolie Bee at the QGGH show- July 2015
Sue Spargo came to the Quilt Guild of Greater Houston and taught a class on her magnificent wool applique. We were so inspired that we started a Bee. Here are some of the art work that resulted from that class. Just amazing!
This last one is an original by Janice Schindler our bee master. One can look at it for hours and still not see all the details. Just lovely.

Quilt Guild of Greater Houston, July 2015 Show
Not many words, just look and see the variety and beauty of the quilts. This is a very small sample of the 245 quilts shown. The next show will be in 2017. I can't wait.

Exhibit "The 5th Element" at 2015 Mega Artesanal
Still at the Mega Artesanal 2015 in SãoPaulo, Brazil.
This great exhibition is a collection of quilts curated by Ciça Mora. I had a chance to meet Ciça and she told me that she has a Facebook group that works on a yearly theme and than she shows the quilts on large shows like this one. I was very impressed by the beauty and quality of the work. I am very temped to joint her group. The 2015 project is due soon, so maybe I will be able to participate in 2016.
